OK, so it's lnow less than 5 weeks away from opening kickoff and nary a peep from the league about some teams. Especially Cleveland and Canton. Will the SFL pull off their ambitious plans of 2 divisions and 7-8 teams this season? Or are we looking at a much revised schedule and line up like last year? Thoughts?

I think we're thinking the same things jwolf. There's been no obvious action on Cleveland or Canton, no coaches, logo's, nothing. They still could pop into existence, but I don't like the odds. Doesn't help Michigan on travel costs either.

I would hate to see Michigan win the SFL North simply because they're the only team active in the division! But as it stands now only Michigan and the Florida teams seem to have any momentum towards getting on with this season. And what of New Orleans? It's still hanging out there, neither in the mix or completely out of it. If the SFL has someone in charge of their official site I would fire him for incompetence when it came to keeping people informed. Having a list of teams that doesn't match up with their posted schedule is ridiculous. And still having the Little Rock logo on the Cleveland page seems to suggest pure apathy and laziness to change it. If they didn't but instead had a league employee doing it on the side I would hire him full time AND then immediately fire him for not keeping people informed. Their official site is their calling card in the internet world and it's an embarrassment to the league.

I cant say to much just yet but ypu guys see the same signs I do key example I'm real good friends with a qb who fwd me a messege of him clearly stating he was not going to play and the team still waisted a roster spot. And I have played for other indoor teams and leagues ran jus like the sfl they all go the same place....nowere...not givin up on them yet just saying don't waste my time as well as potential owners/investors,fans, and other players time..its no way things should be like this for the SECOND SEASON....but I should know something later this week will keep you guys updated.

Hey guys how are you doing? We held our training camp Saturday and Sunday, But we had to hold it with just the guys from the tryouts and some guys from last season, because we have not received our Draft Board with players on it. I have not heard from the league in a week or so. I have called and left message after message for them and have not had a call back. I have my stadium wanting to know what dates we need, sponsors ready to come on board, but want to see a set schedule. We don't know who we will be playing because have not heard anything from the league about Ohio teams. We are starting to get worried and frustrated because we have a lot of coaches, players and staff that have been working hard for the season. It will be very bad if we did all this work and have no season. I am not saying we are not going to. We will continue to work hard and move forward. If I hear anything I will let you know. Thanks for the support guys. I don't know about the rest of the teams, but we appreciate.

Thanks for the feedback Showtime and GM. W eappreciate you guys keeping us posted cuz the league sure doesn't. I think gatek is right, we'll see a season but just like last year it'll get modifed a few times from the schedule they put out originally. Any chance some of your castoffs from camp and/or tryouts won't end up playing for Cleveland or Canton, GM? I could see the league throwing those 2 teams together at the last minute. Which if that becomes the case I'd say that makes the Coyotes the odds on favorite to win the division. Kind of a sucky way to do so but......

Well I guess we have our answer now....The 2012 season will feature only 5 teams, all in Florida. Since we heard so little about Cleveland and Canton I'm not surprised they're gone. But the Michigan Coyotes??? I'm feeling really bad for our Coyote players and coaches on here who have done such a great job keeping us informed and trying to generate support for their team and the league. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that Petey will see clear to keep them at the last minute for the 2012 season. Fingers crossed......
