All I know is I had family and friends ready to drive from Detroit up to flint which is a hour away to come to games. I feel as if I let me sons down and it wasn't my fault. I worked hard to finally get this shot and to have it snatched is just pissing me off. Bunch of bullshit here.

What's hard is there seems to be no way to voice your displeasure with this league. Their official website doesn't respond back to you and their Facebook page once again got scrubbed of comments and isn't currently allowing anyone to post on it. So all I can hope is that someone in the league offices follows this forum and can see the frustrations they're creating. We all know football is a business and yeah there's always gonna be hard decisions to make to help that business succeed. But there should NEVER be a time when people who work for you find out their jobs and livelihoods are gone from a fan message board site. That's just about as wrong as it gets. Shame on you Petey!

All i can say is i really hope that somehow we do play at least next year in this league so we can win the whole thing, really just feeling so disrespected by the league as myself and the rest of the players/coaches feel i know it creates fuel on my fire, or even if ownership were to decide to go to another league have a multi league game in which we can take on there best team.... But i greatly apprieciate the feedback we are getting so far, even in practices we did every thing we can to shed that "semi-pro" monkey off our back keeping practices intense upbeat and focused, because we took that "Professional" title seriously, and ive played for semi pro teams both good and bad orgs and what we the coyotes were accomplishing i felt was a step above.... this league wants to not be looked at as "glorified semi pro" and to be looked at as a "high caliber professional" league then they need to do so with there actions and be willing to invest themselves in teams and travel costs if necassary the first years out anyone thats took buisness 101 knows that the first 5 years is all investment you really dont look to turn a siginificant profit till about year 6 depending on growth goals and buisness plans... im just saying i know semi pro leagues that have helped teams out in need, i hope this league really reconsiders because we had a good buzz started increasing everyday, michigan could have been a great staple in the league....

The SFL could have had the decency to at least call to inform Michigan that they were folding before the list of teams released on their website.

A lot of people may not know this but this is how a lot of minor leagues operate.....they don't tell the coaches or players anything......they leave it up to the owners to share the bad news, and most times to avoid backlash they don't say anyything they wait for the news to be posted on the web.....this is somewhat like my situation I had a while back with the west michigan thunderhawks of the I.f.l......and last season with the dayton silverbacks of the cifl...we found out through the local newspaper that our owner was broke and didn't have money to pay us....

Sad but true. I don't remember if it was here or somewhere else, but I remember someone saying Huthwaite was just throwing out darts to see what would stick. It's a pity he doesn't care about the darts.
