So has anybody been paying attention to this league? Right now, it is only operating out in the northwest and has about three teams. It's quite possibly in worse shape right now than the SFL, but like them, they have gone ahead anyway. They had ten teams to start across the country (as we may know, Marty Culpepper was to coach Miami) but only three have shown up, so they're playing semi-pro teams to fill out their schedule. (Because of that, it's pretty hard to track schedules, standings, etc.) Seems they've managed to get some halfway decent talent. www.thepdfl.com/

I've watched them a little bit. They seem to be part of two or three groups that try to set up a developmental league every year. This year with three teams, they've got farther than most.
Unlike the SFL, there are owners for each team, though from what I've heard, several team that did not get off the ground had the same owner. Talent wise, I suspect they'd kick the SFL up and down the state of Florida.
