We're glad to have you here, PeeJay. Your insight and analysis of the game would be greatly appreciated, be it the SFL or the business of professional football in general. I'm especially curious about the geographical distribution of the teams early on in the SFL's existance. Any idea if they're gonna make a concerted effort to get the franchises in Mobile or Charleston up and running sooner than some of the other ones? I think Mobile would make for a nice rivalry with New Orleans, much like Daytona's starting to develop with Ft. Lauderdale. Also, have you given thought about playing/coaching/managing in the SFL in the future? Or elsewhere?

PeeJay
I think most of us would agree with everything you've said, and we as fans have been saying the same thing. Be smart about your teams and don't tell us lies about them. We're much more forgiving if we're told the truth from the start. And your points on advertising hit home most of all. jwolf set up this board because we were sick of struggling to find information about the league. Come on SFL, help us out, spend a little cash to let us know what's going on!

With the 2 games I played in, I would say no more than 125 at both games.

And that's stretching it, $20 per ticket is a hard sell.

Yeah, that did seem a bit pricey for a new league.

I'm not linked to anyone is Europe anymore. I don't know what my next move is yet. I'm in the process of getting into the BEST shape of my life and will get with a QB Coach soon to get my fundamentals tightened. I want to be the BEST QB I've ever been for my next season. I've received a lot of messages to Coach Minor League Teams but, that is not my direction what so ever. As far as my next step IDK but, some team is going to have a BEAST on their team!

And that's stretching it, $20 per ticket is a hard sell. They would probably make the same amount of money selling $6 tickets and double the attendance

LOL No NFL Interest outside of me interested in the NFL! I had a Private workout with Montreal in May with a guy who was on the practice squad with the Raiders. I clearly out performed him but him simply being on the practice squad of a NFL Team Trumped the body of work I put on the field that day. The QB Coach really liked me but, that wasn't enough. Thats the business, its not always about your talent. NAMES are EVERYTHING at the Next level. I had a private workout with John Gruden in 2009 and when Matt Grothe joined the FL Tuskers he and EVERY Coach on that team couldnt understand the opportunites this kid got. They said everything that you dont want in a QB, this kid possess. He was short, slow, small hands, no arm, quiet and scared. Coaches would look at me after something he did and just shake their heads. I truly believe if my girlfriend hadnt been their DFO I would of been in their Camp in 2010. Oh well, that's life.

Couple of questons for you peejay..
What's the standard of the game like? I'm assuming it's at semi pro level, so in turn what's the work ethos like? Training daily or 2 times a week,
is it similar to semi pro/ Europe where a couple of guys are paid and they can do football related stuff daily whilst others have work day jobs. Or is everyone paid?
Secondly, what's the playbooks like, ( I know I can't really give peoples offences away but.. ) u see alot of varied styles of offence / defence or is it pretty much run of the mill 2 te's or I backs??
How was your european experiance.. I guess it depends on the team..
