They might as well, any chance to get noticed. Still, if I was Tim, I'd be very leery of a league that doesn't even have any teams yet. Make sure you get your money up front.

A mute point if New England was to say "we would be interested in signing Tim Tebow if he was willing to switch positions."

Yeah, Tebow's picture was part of the original presentation, even before he had been drafted. The fact that they're hitching their wagon to him, without his permission... well, it's been done before.
Let me take you back to 1975. The World Football League team in Chicago hitched its wagon to Joe Namath. They renamed the team the Winds and made the team colors the same as the Jets. They offered him a huge salary, an ownership stake in a future team, and some other benefits. It was clear that without Namath, the Winds would fail.
Well, Namath spurned them and stayed with the Jets. Sure enough, five weeks into the season, the Winds fail.
I have a feeling Mr. Bryan and Mr. Humphries are setting themselves up for the same letdown.

Of course the difference is that Namath would have had to leave the Jets to go to the Wind. Since Tim has been released, it may be A 11 football or nothing.

Or the CFL, or arena ball, or one of the countless indoor leagues... heck, even the SFL. It's not as if the A11FL has any sort of leverage here.

A mute point if New England was to say "we would be interested in signing Tim Tebow if he was willing to switch positions." Well played, gdawg,,, but I would point out... generally, New England changes the positions to find ways to use its talent in the best way possible. Of course, as Randy Moss and Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson both found out, it can also be a place where careers go to die. Right now Tim has to beat out Ryan Mallett for second on the depth chart.
