Looks like the EFL is going to survive. Team California is staying. But with how many teams?

I am going to stick with Indoor Football, these outdoor leagues have been a joke. I see better run semi-pro leagues In all fairness, the indoor leagues haven't exactly been stable either. There's the case of the Eastern Indoor Football League, which lasted three games before folding. The Stadius Football Association never got off the ground. The Ultimate Indoor Football League, which is relatively successful by indoor standards, had at least four teams that were supposed to play this year but seem to have existed only on paper. How many incarnations has American Indoor Football (League/Association) been through? Five, now? On top of this, most of these leagues have incredibly high turnover and it's rare that any of them keep more than half of their teams from season to season. It may not be as bad as the countless outdoor leagues that have tried to start up lately (AAFL, SFL, EFL, UNGL, even the UFL might qualify), but that's because indoor ball can get away with far smaller rosters, markets and costs. (The other part is that most of those leagues aren't centralized the way the outdoor leagues seem to be. As I've said before, if Hulthwaite and the like can get together instead of trying to keep to their own little leagues, I think it'd make for a far better chance of success.) There's room for some success, but there's just as much failure indoors as there is outdoors.

We were going to try and make a run at it in the EFL, but the commissioner flaked out last night. We have pulled out and the league has folded. We'll begin preparation to join a league for next year. Our HC and marketing department are already looking for investors and will have all equipment and uniforms bought for the players before we begin tryouts. Our cheer team will stay in tact for next year and continue to do events and clinics. We're staying with our facilities that we had set up, including our practice facility where we have the capability to have our players watch practice/game film and lift weights, and our game facility which seats 15k. We have been in contact with the SFL, but we're weighing all of our options to see which league has the best business model and stability.

Socal, sorry things didn't work out with the EFL. They seem to have made a lot of people mad in their wake. Can you give us any more information regarding your contact with the SFL? What other leagues are you looking at?

So basically, the commissioner of the EFL is nothing more than a scam artist?
Why does that not surprise me?

Everything is in the preliminary stages. It looks like the UNFL is trying to take off with some of our EFL castoffs, so that is a possible destination. SFL is a possibility. There is a very well run semi-pro league out here that is a possibility as well.

I have a prediction, the same one I had back the first of January when I tried to warn everyone about kim mosby and his bunch of crooks: The league will not (and did not) get off the ground.
