Well, frankly I'm surprised they've gotten this far. Yes, we'll see how it goes. Though I'm still hating the "Team _______" names. I hope if they stick around they'll give them real names at least.

I am not surprised they are playing, I doubt the players are getting paid, to me this is glorified semi-pro. Glad they are playing though good for them. I will never hate on a guys football league plans, for I someday will have my own

I am going to name mine cities. Team one is going to be Springfield good luck guessing what state that is in because on my website I am not going to list it. On the bright side you have a 10% chance of guessing it right

Well, if the first two games that were scheduled for last night were played, I can't find any record of it. No mention on the EFL website or team Facebook pages. Still, it's early, so we shall see.

Google News also turns up nothing. At least the SFL had an Internet/radio broadcast so we could follow along...

OK, I found a Team Louisiana group on FB, and apparently they won last night, 25-20. The Pennsylvania group's closed and I can't see any posts there without asking to join, and I really don't care to associate my personal account with that.

According to Davon Gardner's FB page, the players received a text message that the NC vs Penn game was cancelled.

According to Davon Gardner's FB page, the players received a text message that the NC vs Penn game was cancelled. l That's what I suspected as well... I found one of the Pennsylvania players's Facebook page, and it went from talking up Saturday's game in the days before, then when it came time to play, the only status was basically that he was going to the gym. So basically, we've gotten to this point and the EFL, out of about 13 originally announced teams, two of them are on the field and playing. Hey, at least Lester Ricard is still collecting a paycheck.
