Well, today's the day the SFL said they were going to begin their season... after a couple of delays that, quite frankly, are par for the course for this league.
We have the league's flagship franchise, the Fort Lauderdale Barracudas, facing off against the would-be-Exclusive Football League deserters, the Daytona Beach Racers, in of all places, Fort Pierce.
Any predictions on the game? Scores? Whether or not the game will be held at all? I don't think WWNN is carrying the radio broadcasts this year so it appears we'll need some firsthand accounts if we want to know what happens tonight...
Good luck to both teams-- it appears they're going to need it.

The site buffers too much.

I only caught the end of the first half. It did buffer a few times, but no too badly. Also, the audio sounds like it's in a bucket.
But still, we are actually seeing a SFL game as it's happening. For this league, that's huge!

For this league, that's huge! We are indeed making progress. Hulthwaite, you pulled a rabbit out of your hat with this one... EDIT: But the site says the game has been moved to Lawnwood Stadium at Port St. Lucie... Well, with attendance as anemic as it's been, it can't hurt!

Listening to the tail end of the game... the PxP man's mike is totally shot; he needs to find a replacement.

Ft Lauderdale lines up to try the second field goal attempt to win the game after a Daytona penalty, and.... "THIS STREAM IS CURRENTLY OFFLINE."
What?! SFL you astound me. You build to a dramatic finish then dash it all at the last second.

The field goal was good, and the signal that the stream had cut off beat the actual video of the stream to your computer.

I guess I'll buy that. It's not full proof tech. Still annoying though.

So..............do we know the final score? Didn't get to see or hear anything about the game last night. And nothing on the official site either. Congrats to the SFL for at least pulling a game out and starting a 2nd season. But their skills with building a fanbase are still lacking.....
