It's the battle of the forts tonight. The game is streaming, but oddly the SFL website has no mention of that fact. Where it appeared, there is now a picture of Pete. Weird!

I missed it, due to a combination of work and not particularly feeling well. Did anybody catch the results?

I only saw a little bit. It's kind of hard to watch, there is a lot of them just standing around. They don't seem to be in any hurry to get plays off.

...and it seems to be the biggest press following as well. Thanks for the find.
One thing curious about it, why does he refer to it as the "Florida Swampdogs" and the "Port St. Lucie Racers?" Perhaps he's just as confused about where the teams are as Hulthwaite is!

The two refugee leagues from from the EFL managed to play one game between the two of them. We have to be fair though. The UFL is still officially a fall league. If they play, and I'll grant you that is a big "if", they won't have games until August or September. And even the UFL didn't have a team disappear the week before the season started. (Port St Lucie)!

My bigger point was just how little we all have to choose from in the alternative outdoor football universe I guess....

You'd think with all the groups standing up and showing, "We're going to be an alternative/feeder to the NFL!", that maybe one of them could do a half way decent job!

Hey, it's an extremely expensive proposition. I'm sure Hulthwaite is barely keeping the league financially solvent. I would never try launching a professional 11-man football league in this environment.
Now, that doesn't mean you can't do alternative football, but you do have to take some other approaches.

Totally agree. It's why he has so many schedule changes and last minute shuffling of teams I think. The problem with Petey is he apparently has no people skills when it comes to informing others of his last minute changes. And apparently also no concept of building a fan friendly league. Outside of putting a few games on the field he seems oblivious, or at least tone deaf, to how his decisions affect everyone else involved. May be why he still appears to be a one man show, investment-wise.......
