SFL is looking to add four new teams to the 2013 league season. SFL is also looking for investors to invest in the league, or invest in an individual league team. Individuals should contact the league office at 313-886-6800, or through our eamil address at operations@starsfootballleague.com. The new team cities that the SFL is targeting are Akron ( OH) , Charleston(SC), Cleveland (OH), and Canton (OH). Any other interested parties who would like to place a team in a particular city, should contact the league office. starsfootballleague.com/news/sfl-qualified-investors/So basically, the SFL is trying once again to launch a North Division in Ohio, which would presumably include a revived Michigan Coyotes. Also of note is his continued efforts to find an owner for the Charleston Admirals, who have yet to play. I wonder if this is a ploy for ownership or an effort to send out feelers to the proposed New USFL or SPFL ownership groups...

Pete was Bobby's agent when he played for the CFL and Detroit Lions . After that, Bobby became a teacher and High school football coach until getting the job with the SFL, so I doubt he had a lot of money to invest. I always thought they just wanted to allure of having a former NFL player on the staff, kind of like the USFL "Advisory Board".
