So, um, I attempted listening to last night's game. Not only had it been delayed an hour due to rain, but it seems that once it did start, it was marred by so much dead air that it made it practically unlistenable (and that same 30-second ad at the start every time I had to reset the stream was extremely annoying). I caught the Ironmen giving up a safety on a high punt snap at the start of the game, but that was all. Crowd noise was practically nonexistent.
ESPN 106.3 didn't live-tweet or promote the game at all (a marked contrast from the past two weeks) and it sounded like they were really having a hard time promoting the game,... in fact it appears they went with coverage of the NBA Draft over the air on at least one of the signals. The league's official Web site says nothing about either game last night.
I guess we can't exactly take for granted that they'll have playoffs on Monday night.
