OK I started this thread kind of tongue in cheek since not too many of us except PeeJay and Jazzfan have probably seen an SFL game or played/coached in one like they have........nevertheless who do you think has the edge in this one? Their season series is tied at 1-1, and this is the first time I can remember seeing 2 teams play each other for a third time in one season. The game is at Daytona. Lauderdale is coming off of a nail biting OT game loss agAinst New Orleans, while Daytona crushed Michigan at home last game. I'm prediciting Lauderdale by 7 in an upset. They'll be hungrier for the win.

I will take Daytona, simply because they come first alphabetically. Wish I could watch the game.

My guess would be no, considering the pictures we have seen. When we saw pix of Ft Lauderdale vs Michigan, there did not seem to be any road jerseys.

So far The Barracudas don't sound too good just before halftime it's 21-6 in favor of Daytona. Sounds like neither team is passing much or kicking both sides are going for it on 4th down alot & there was a water line break on the Ft Lauderdale sideline Tune in here starsfootballleague.com/sfl-live-broadcast/

Daytona 21, Fort Lauderdale 19, mid 3rd quarter. Announcers estimate the crowd between 600-700. The New York Sentinels would've killed for that size crowd, lol

Daytona 28, Fort Lauderdale 19, end of 3rd quarter. Barracudas came on strong in the 3rd quarter but Daytona is reasserting itself.....

They only have 36 guys on their roster. No room for specialists. Except maybe a kicker.

Wow, close finish! Final: Daytona Racers 31, Fort Lauderdale Barracudas 29. One thing you have to say about this league is that they've put together some very close and competitive games. Now, if only people could see them...
