This is great for the league. They could resemble an actual football league next year. Compared to all the BS wanna be leagues out there ( new AFL, NUSFL) these guys actually pulled off a season. You have to give them props for that! Talk is cheap. It may not have been pretty, it may have been sometimes comical (ie 12 hour bus rides, showing up late for games cuz your equipment didnt get unloaded from the plane on time) but, by God they did it! Think how many alternative football leagues never even played a down. I love underdogs. These guys are underdogs and they did it.

Lets hope a full season also includes a TV deal. Preferably with a network people have heard of.

They did do it, props to them, but I think the AAFL and the other big leagues were paying their players big bucks and that is why they never kicked off

Players salaries weren't the only problem the AAFL had.
As I recall, the commissioner said one of the most useful tools in getting investors is really having a product to show people. Now the SFL has an example of that product to show they actually intend to play.

Oh I agree, I'm under no illusion the SFL is looking to sign any big names or pay big bucks for now. But I'll definately take a league that put itself together and actually played legitimate football games with paid players over the ones who talked big and never delivered one down of football.

I give the league props and really hope they become successful.
