Yeah, Michigan seems like a rather shabbily assembled team even compared to the other three. They (New Orleans) would be the immediate favorite right now.

Michigan is the one wild card in this whole season. We don't know their players, they had no home games, they don't have any fans we know of, and we don't even have a clear picture of their uniforms. I have to go with New Orleans as well.

Gonna have to go with New Orleans, though it's a shame they never went head to head with Daytona, who went 3-1 this season. A real Championship game would've allowed the 2 best teams in the league to really earn the title "League Champion.' Next year we've been assured of a real Championship game, so I'm gonna chalk up the 2011 season as the "super soft launch." Perhaps call it the "Jello launch" season.

but Jazz has the best record. its not their fault they didn't get to play more games. if they win tonight they will have the better record and have beaten the team the Racers lost to.

Sure wish they'd of all played the same number of games so we wouldn't have to guess which team was better. Or at least played each other this week like they were supposed to. Daytona had been shceduled to play New Orleans today, they should of left it the way it was....

Sure wish they'd of all played the same number of games so we wouldn't have to guess which team was better. Or at least played each other this week like they were supposed to. Daytona had been shceduled to play New Orleans today, they should of left it the way it was.... The one thing that the change in schedule assures is that all four teams get to play at least two games, against two of the three opponents. Now, honestly, they could have just as easily played this season with a three-team league, left Michigan out of it, and had just as many games but a much fairer setup. Now, if Michigan wins tonight, then on pure wins and losses alone Daytona Beach wins the title. (It gets a little more muddled if we start talking point differential, since even though Daytona won 2 of the 3 games in their series, Fort Lauderdale has the edge in point total thanks to a bigger win in Week 2, and scored 64 points compared to Daytona's 61.) If New Orleans wins, they tie Daytona Beach in the fact that they defeated both of the teams they played. This is where things get complicated. You would think that New Orleans would get the tiebreaker, not only by virtue of undefeatedness, but the fact that the Daytona-Fort Lauderdale series can be interpreted both ways. But remember: the New Orleans-FTL game went into sudden death overtime, and was a tie in regulation, so it's not so clear-cut. Personally, I'd schedule a championship game in relative haste to decide the undisputed title if New Orleans wins tonight.

Tuning into the "SFL Live Broadcast" button now, and I'm getting a talk show. Looks like it's a blackout again, folks.

Not a big surprise. They were running it thru a local FL station, so I doubt anyone would tune in to hear Michigan vs New Orleans. Hopefully they can improve this as well next year.
The Jazz Facebook page might update the game occasionally. I don't really know though.

Congratulations to the 2011 SFL Champion New Orleans Jazz! They beat the Michigan Coyotes 21-6.
