I know a highly qualified Head Coach who tried to apply for the Racers Head Coaching position and was told they would not review his (over qualfied) resume unless he registered with the league and PAID to have his resume reviewed. What kind of rinky dink leagues are popping up now days?

The kind that is scraping the bottom of the barrel funding wise, and even expects their GM's to register (and pay), to be considered for jobs.

What kind of rinky dink leagues are popping up now days? It's a revenue thing. They're not making any significant money off gate attendance, they're paying for media exposure... pretty much the only thing they can make money off are tryouts-- and apparently they've extended that model to coaching as well. Unusual? No. Does it help the financial situation? Definitely.
