When I read the original schedule on the 2nd, it was basically a double round-robin. I suspect that the fact that traveling to the Silverdome for Coyotes games wasn't going to be feasible on a regular basis made them cut back some of the games and that they're making adjustments on the fly.

Well I am glad they're making adjustments, it shows they're constantly trying to balance things out. Like earlier last week when they got a 2nd home game for Lauderdale. Had they just left things the way they were I would of believed they were less commited to building fanbases in Michigan and Lauderdale. BTW I really wish there was a Facebook page going for the Coyotes by now. Because if just left to word of mouth there wouldn't be but a few dozen family members in attendance. Facebook is hardly an effective advertising campaign but it's a small start.

So the schedule now has 10 games listed. But the number of games played by each team is significantly different for just a 4 team league. Ft. Lauderdale now plays 7 games, Daytona 6 games, New Orleans 4 games, and Michigan only 3 games. And Michigan and New Orleans don't even play each other now at all! Can anybody from the league explain this? Another quirk is that Daytona play at New Orleans 2 weeks in a row. Guessing they're just gonna stay in town for awhile?

OK the official website now announces that the SFL is 'playing an off-balanced schedule" for its inaugural season. What the hell does that mean?

And Michigan's game in Wisner Stadium has been pushed back to the day they told us it was scheduled to be before, August 20!
And off balanced schedule means the founders team can still be considered as champions, even though they played 1/3 as many games.

It took me the longest time to realize where on the website you were talking about. Nice of them to change a dated message and not let us know it's updated!
I can't figure this league out. Not having enough money to advertise, or even travel, I understand. But they seem to go out of their way to not have fans. Maybe it's somebody's tax shelter or something.

Well this is the most random schedule change I've ever heard. The official site now has only one game listed, Michigan at New Orleans. And the Facebook Jazz page is calling it the Championship game. Which is weird considering they've only played 1 game and so has Michigan. I don't know what to make of this.....

According to a Michigan player who had posted on a Daytona player's facebook page the Coyotes were told today they would be going to New Orleans instead of Lauderdale. He thought it it was bs. And some of the other daytona players thought it was bs too of course, that they should be in the Championship game.
