I liked them. The name is different and the uni's worked. I would like to see them in road and away jersey's this year.

OK, so I just noticed on the official SFL website that they've now added 3 new teams to the "Team Info" section. You know, the one that had 8 teams listed on there all last year even though only 4 teams were active. There are now 11 listed, the original 8 plus the Canton Bulldogs, the Ft. Myers Swampdogs, and the Ft. Pierce Orange. I thought the "Orange" name was reserved for a Tampa-area team but I guess it's now for Ft. Pierce. No matter. Things will change again I'm sure. Let's hope we'll start to see the league solidify in the coming weeks. i seriously doubt all 11 will play this year but I believe the original 4 plus the new 3 will do so. Add, say Charlseton in the mix and you have an 8 team league for 2012. Though it will be a little lopsided in Florida's favor location wise.

I went back and looked in their news section at the Tampa team. They were listed as the "proposed Tampa team". Looks like the proposal didn't go through. I'm kind of with you on this jwolf. If they can get 8 playings they've done well.

I could start to see a Northern division (New Orleans, Michigan, Canton, Charleston) and a Southern division (the Florida teams) starting to coalesce. Although only in the SFL could N.O. and Charleston be 'Northern" teams, lol

so they released their schedule. Here are the teams Bradenton Ironmen. Ft. Pierce Orange Michigan Coyotes Ft. Lauderdale Barracudas Port St. Lucie Swampdogs. Cleveland Steamers Canton Bulldogs. Cleveland Steamers really? And Cleveland doesn't even play until week 4, who comes up with these things? The teams up north only plays 4 games, South teams play 6 starsfootballleague.com/news/stars-football-league-announces-2012-playing-schedule/

Someone must of told that to Huthwaite and he liked the name. Wait till someone whispers in his ear what it really means and the name will be quickly changed. Hey, it's a great thing to finally have a schedule and some divisions, right? Not quite what we expected but it is the SFL.....

That is also assuming that this is a final schedule. I would not be surprised to still see new teams or changes in the schedule. Hopefully this year we won't get them after the season starts.

And where are the New Orleans Jazz? I see nothing on their Facebook page to indicate they're not part of the SFL anymore.

yeah I dont understand why the south plays more games than the north. As a player, it hurts because you get paid less.
and yeah I hope their logo is a giant turd
